History (if not spirits) haunts the Casa Grande domes

Today’s question; A friend sent me this picture and asked if I knew about it. I am sure you do.

But, Clay, you say. You lovable scamp. We see no picture here. What trickery is this?

I know. That was just a set-up. If I used the picture the lady sent me it would have either been so small as to be almost undetectable or so big it would chew up the whole space.

The picture showed one of what are now usually referred to as The Domes at Casa Grande.

Depending on your point of view, they are an interesting industrial artifact, a creepy, haunted mysterious place or just some more junk left on the desert landscape.
