Taxpayers pay $20K because Tempe politician called a constituent names

Tempe City Councilman Kolby Granville may get his second reprimand of the year, this time for calling a constituent a “psycho, paparazzi stalker” on social media.
The council will vote on the reprimand Thursday.
Council also reprimanded Granville in April after a verbal exchange between the two-term councilman and an assistant city attorney during a meeting in January. At the end of the 30-minute discussion, Granville told the assistant city attorney that the advice was “sh–ty.”
On April 7, one day after the council discussed the first letter of reprimand, Granville posted a photo taken by Tempe resident Mario Martinez to Facebook and Instagram.
