Zone change on Casa Grande council agenda; issue was debated at P&Z

CASA GRANDE — The City Council is set to hear a zone change request Monday for a potential multifamily dwelling, discussing an issue that was rife with controversy last month.

At the Planning and Zoning meeting in June, misconceptions swirled about what apartments and multifamily dwellings cost in terms of crime.

PinalCentral requested data from both the Planning and Police departments to see: Does an apartment complex automatically equal crime in Casa Grande?
