SAN TAN VALLEY — Residents in northeastern Pinal County are set to have an enticing new shopping option near their neighborhoods.

A new complex called Ironwood Crossing is scheduled to begin construction soon, with an eye toward a fall 2018 completion date. The 18.4-acre shopping center located at the northwest corner of Ironwood Drive and Ocotillo Road will be anchored by a Safeway grocery store.

According to the plans laid out by Common Bond Development Group, other tenants currently signed on include Cobblestone Auto Spa, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Geno’s Pizza and Cheesesteaks, Happy Feet Nails & Spa, Sports Clips and Taco Bell.
