It’s back: Mesa group revives push for $60 million youth-sports complex

After a scuttled attempt to put a $56 million youth and amateur sports complex to Mesa voters in 2016, a local tourism group is trying again.

This time, the price is set at $60 million, but officials involved with the effort say the economic benefit would far exceed that. One expert isn’t so sure.
