ASU to relocate Thunderbird School from Glendale to downtown Phoenix campus

Thunderbird’s new building is expected to open by January 2021.

Arizona State University plans to move the Thunderbird School of Global Management from Glendale to the downtown Phoenix campus.

Three years ago, ASU signed a final agreement to take control of the school, which had been struggling financially after decades as a private, nonprofit university that specialized in international business programs.

Thunderbird’s new building is expected to open by January 2021. The building will be between First and Second streets, just north of Polk Street on ASU’s downtown Phoenix campus.
