News from Neighboring States for Feb. 28, 2018: Motion seeks to overturn decision approving an agreement between the Navajo Nation and New Mexico settling certain Navajo water rights.

 

Little Colorado River. The Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit last month granted the Navajo Nation’s request to overturn a decision of the Arizona District Court holding the Nation’s claim the United States had breached its fiduciary duty to the Navajo Nation.
