Flagstaff home sales volume sets record for first quarter

A record-breaking first quarter for home sales in the Flagstaff area in 2018 could have been aided by a dry winter, giving a boost to what is normally the slowest period of the year for home sales.

Between January and March, 210 single-family homes sold in the Flagstaff area, the highest ever for the first quarter, Stephen Brighton, a realtor with Century 21 said. The median sales price for the first quarter for single-family detached homes was $379,000, up 1 percent from the same period last year.
