Huddleston worked for Casa Grande, wants to continue service

EDITOR’S NOTE: This is the fourth in a series of articles profiling candidates for Casa Grande City Council.

He might have retired several years ago, but former Casa Grande Police Chief Bob Huddleston said he has no plans to slow down.

“I had always considered running for council when I retired,” Huddleston told PinalCentral. “In fact, I actually timed my retirement so I could run.”

Huddleston retired from CGPD in 2013 after serving on the force and working his way up through the ranks since 1980. And while he didn’t quite make it during his first run for council two years ago, he believes this year he has a chance to again serve the city he’s lived in for more than 50 years.
