2018 Apache Junction candidate summary

There are a total of six candidates running for Apache Junction City office in 2018. There are two candidates vying for the Mayor’s office (vote for one) and four candidates contesting for three open seats (you may vote for up to three) on the City Council.

The Apache Junction Mayor’s salary is $1,000 per month, the Vice Mayor is $900, and City Council salaries are $800 per month.

The Primary election will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. The office of Mayor will be decided in the Primary race, because there are only two candidates involved. The office of Mayor carries a two-year term.
