“My highest priority as a Maricopa County Supervisor is to pass a balanced budget that gives you, the taxpayer, the greatest return on the investment of your precious tax dollars. I’m proud to say Maricopa County’s Fiscal Year 2027 budget delivers on that principle and then some!
We have cut your property tax rate for a sixth consecutive year. This means every budget I have voted on as a member of the Board has lowered your property tax rate. This budget also boasts no general obligation debt, a two-month fiscal reserve to weather any financial uncertainty, and one of the lowest staff-to-resident ratios in the nation (3.3 staff for every 1,000 residents).
