Candidates for Coolidge City Council brought a wealth of ideas to the table at Thursday’s political forum sponsored by the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce and PinalCentral.

The forum, entitled “Get to Know Your Candidate,” provided the six candidates for council with an opportunity to discuss their qualifications, philosophies and goals for Coolidge before the voters.

This season there are three seats up for election on council as well as the mayor’s seat. The six candidates for council are: incumbent Tatiana Murrieta, Tina Kaufman, Juan Salas, incumbent Joseph Marsh, Kevin Todd and Benjamin Navarro.

Mayor Jon Thompson is running for re-election unopposed this year. He was not in attendance at the forum.
