[VIDEO] Feisty feline traps agent at showing

Cassie Sonnentag, a real estate pro with Century 21 Affiliated in Altoona, Wis., has heard the phrase “guard dog,” but she had never come across a “guard cat”—that is, until she was recently trapped at a showing by a crazed cat. She documented the encounter on a video that has since gone viral and has been watched by millions across the globe.

Sonnentag was prepping a home for a showing in Prairie Farm, Wis., and as she turned the lights on in every room before her buyers arrived, the owner’s cat stepped into her way. But this wasn’t just any kitty.

He was mad that she was in the house, and he was in protective mode. The cat hissed as she sneaked past to go up the stairs. Then, it was on. He chased after her, and even bit at her ankle. To try to reassure the cat, Sonnentag tried to pet him—but then he bit her hand.
