The City of Tucson’s Main Gate Overlay District Review Committee heard a proposal from Core Campus at their February 6 meeting, for the development of a new mixed-use student housing complex planned for the SWC of Speedway Boulevard and Park Avenue.
The project, called Hub IV at Park & Speedway, will be located on six parcels at 902, 910, 914 and 916 E Speedway Boulevard and will stretch from Park Avenue to Tyndall. The property is currently separated by an alley and is expected to be consolidated into either two parcels or one depending on whether the alley is incorporated.
The property is zoned C-1 within the Main Gate District and is “currently developed with various commercial uses,” according to the owner’s preapplication submittal.
