More than a year after the Coolidge City Council dropped attempts to annex part of a controversial solar farm, one property owner is asking to bring parts of that area into city limits once again.
In October 2017, the City Council voted to put the brakes on a proposed annexation that would have brought a 257-acre solar farm into city limits.
Known as the Pinal Central Energy Center, the project received significant pushback from area land owners when it was initially proposed.
