The long-awaited SR-347 Corridor Scoping Study kicked off Monday March 18th at Maricopa City Hall with representatives in attendance from agencies across the region, including Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), Pinal County, Arizona Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and the City of Maricopa.
The long-awaited SR-347 Corridor Scoping Study kicked off Monday March 18th at Maricopa City Hall with representatives in attendance from agencies across the region, including Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), Pinal County, Arizona Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and the City of Maricopa.
Maricopa has partnered with Pinal County and MAG to fund the $450,000 study, with MAG serving as the lead agency for this project.
“We are deeply appreciative of the MAG Regional Council, Pinal County Board of Supervisors and the Maricopa City Council for prioritizing funding for this critical study,” said City of Maricopa Transportation Policy Manager David Maestas. “We look forward to working with our regional partners to find a solution to the traffic flow issues that impact our community.”
