New Best Western hotel planned for Casa Grande

Weary travelers will soon have another choice for lodging when they pull off for the night in Casa Grande.

On Thursday, the Casa Grande Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for a three-story Best Western hotel on the northeast corner of Florence Boulevard and Henness Road, adjacent to Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort.

The Best Western will have 68 rooms, 24 of which will be suites. Three larger family suites also will be on the 39,000-square-foot property.

A drainage retention area and a landscape buffer will separate the Best Western from Palm Creek.
