The number of vacant homes in the zip code 85321 zip code area was 186 in the third quarter of 2018, a seven-unit decrease over what it was a year ago, according to real estate numbers reported by ATTOM Data Solutions.
The zip code, located in Ajo, had the 127th highest home vacancy rate among the thousands of U.S. zip codes with 1,000 or more single-family homes and condos in the analysis. The rate stood at 11.82 percent in the third quarter, down from 12.02 percent in the third quarter of 2017.
Nationwide, the home vacancy rate was 1.52 percent in the third quarter, representing more than 1.4 million housing units. That’s a 4 percent decrease over what it was a year earlier as activity in the nation’s housing market continued to intensify, according to ATTOM Data.
