In the midst of preparations for the 2023 Super Bowl, the Valley appears to be solving one of the main issues faced during the 2015 game: hotel rooms.
Glendale currently has a total of 1,595 rooms across 13 hotels, but city officials say they are aiming for more than 2,000 as they continue to attract large-scale entertainment events.
And across the Valley numerous other projects are in the pipeline that will add more than 1,300 rooms to the 5,615 currently available rooms.
Scottsdale, Phoenix, Goodyear, Peoria and Avondale all have hotels either under construction or in the planning phase.
