Nonprofit to break ground on Phoenix townhouse complex

A local nonprofit that promotes homeownership will break ground Wednesday on a 20-unit townhouse complex in Phoenix.

Trellis, which provides counseling and education on housing and real estate, is building its Trellis @ Colter property on Colter Street and 16th Drive.

The nonprofit will hold the groundbreaking ceremony at 9:30 a.m., including speakers Phoenix Councilwoman Laura Pastor and Trellis CEO Patricia Garcia Duarte.
