Developer Joe Risi and Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Corey Peters are backing a joint venture residential project in Tempe, southeast of Arizona State University.

The development, called The Muse at Spence, is located on Spence Avenue east of Rural Road.

It will include 16 single-family, three-bedroom attached homes. Each three-story unit will have a two-car garage on the first level, with the livable space on the second and third levels. Each unit will have a covered patio and backyard, and some will have a rooftop deck.

Construction on the project was set to begin May 30.
