Developer asks for more time for Chandler office park

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Chandler City Council will consider the fate of a proposed office park development at Alma School and Pecos roads.

The council will consider giving an extension to development plans for the planned SanTan Office Campus at its meeting today.

Chandler approved an office park for the 19-acre property in 2016. The approval put a three-year timeline on development commencing.

Property owner and developer JF McKinney & Associates of Arizona LLC is asking Chandler for another three-year extension to develop the land.

The developer says it still wants to bring Class A office space to the East Valley project but said in a letter to the city that construction costs and market conditions stalled its timeline.
