A planned Arizona State University biomedical center and partnership with the Mayo Clinic in north Phoenix is poised to take another step forward.

The Phoenix City Council is slated to vote Wednesday on accepting easements as part of an intergovernmental agreement for ASU to develop the 150,000-square-foot Health Futures Center.

The building is located at Mayo Boulevard and 56th Street.  ASU and the Mayo Clinic are partnering on the biomedical research and medical education venture next to the latter’s north Phoenix center.
