QuikTrip has submitted plans with the city of Scottsdale for a service station at McDowell and Pima roads.

QT wants to build a convenience store and gasoline station on a 2-acre site on the northwest corner of McDowell and Pima.

The property is in Scottsdale on the city’s border with the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community. The proposed QT site is vacant and near the Loop 101 freeway.

The QuikTrip store is slated to total 5,100 square feet. Construction could start in January 2020 if QT gains city approvals.

The QT is located on a larger 6-acre site. The remaining 4 acres could be used for a  future office or retail development, according to QuikTrip’s filing with the city of Scottsdale.
