Builders bring more plans for new homes, townhouses to Surprise

The Surprise Planning and Zoning Commission will consider plans for more planned new homes at its meeting today.

The Commission will look at plans and preliminary plant approvals to bring 60 single family homes to 19.44 acres at Peoria and Reems roads.

PL Stonefield, LLC, an arm of Scottsdale-based Criterion Land Management, wants to build new homes on the West Valley property.

Toll Brothers is also requesting revisions to some of its plans at the Prasada development at Cotton Lane in between Peoria and Cactus Roads.

Toll Brothers is asking Surprise to approve plans for 174 homes on 36.8 acres.

The Surprise board will also look at plans from Virtua International Holdings for a 120-unit townhouse development at Elm Street and Dysart Road.

The project is called Heritage on Dysart.
