Charter school group could buy Indian School Road property from city

The city of Phoenix is looking at potentially selling a property at Indian School Road and 15th Street to a charter school company

Scottsdale-based Charter Schools Development Corporation is inquiring with the city to purchase of the property at 1515 East Indian School Road.

The property was previously used as parking for the High-Tech Institute. The parcel has been assessed as being worth $672,000. 

Charter Schools Development Corp. helps charter schools with development and financing of campuses.

The Phoenix City Council’s Land-Use and Livability Subcommittee will look at the potential sale at its meeting today.
