Eloy concerned about Marana expansion plans around Picacho Peak

The city plans to update its general plan with an eye toward the expansion plans of neighboring cities such as Casa Grande and Marana.

The Eloy City Council discussed possible updates to the Eloy General Plan and possible policies and strategies relating to the Tier One Environmental Impact Statement of a future north-south freeway on Monday.

Community Development Director Jon Vlaming presented amendments, annexations and growth boundaries that are involved with the general plan.
