Church mixed-use heads to Scottsdale City Council

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Scottsdale City Council will vote Thursday on a church’s plans to develop 7.58 acres off Hayden Road near the Scottsdale Airpark and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard.

Impact Church owns the site and wants to develop 69,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space along 123,000 square feet of new Class A office space.

The Scottsdale City Council will consider approving a development agreement with Impact Church for the Core Center project as well as zoning changes needed for the mixed-use plans.

The church has already developed apartments adjacent to the planned offices and restaurants.

The land is currently vacant and undeveloped. It is located in one of Scottsdale’s prime commercial, retail and restaurant areas.
