Pinal County supervisors chairman, vice chairman chosen for 2020

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors recently elected Supervisor Anthony Smith from District No. 4 to be chairman and Supervisor Pete Rios from District No. 1 to be vice chairman, effective Jan 1, 2020-Dec. 21, 2020.

The elections were held at the board’s Dec. 18 meeting, according to a release.

“I very much appreciate the confidence my fellow Supervisors have in my ability to lead and serve. It’s an important opportunity for me,” Supervisor Smith  said in the release.
