The Scottsdale City Council is scheduled to vote on a proposed expansion of the Site 42 Water Reservoir at Pima and Jomax roads.

Plans call for the city of Scottsdale to expand the water reservoir on a 4-acre site adjacent to the existing facility.

The Scottsdale Council will vote January 14 on the expansion plans and increasing allowed building heights at the property. The property is currently zoned for buildings that are 24-feet high. The changes would allow for 40-foot-tall buildings.

The expansion requires the city to rezone 4 acres of land it acquired previously via an annexation. The land is currently zoned for single family residential use.
