Avondale State of the City event talks development

The city of Avondale will hold its “State of the City” event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at The BLVD, the downtown Avondale district being highlighted.

Described as a business mixer, the event will focus on economic development and business partnerships.  

In his keynote, Avondale Mayor Kenneth Weise will highlight many of last year’s accomplishments, including the city’s developments.

 The city will also highlight companies whose contributions and stories contribute to Avondale’s advancements, as well as recognize the city’s sustainable “Green Business” partnerships.
