New apartments spur storage development plans in Scottsdale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

New and updated plans have been submitted in Scottsdale for a planned new storage facility next to the Papago Plaza redevelopment at Scottsdale and McDowell roads.

The storage development aims to serve apartment tenants at new and under construction multifamily projects in southern Scottsdale, according to plans filed with the city of Scottsdale.

Bell Group LLC wants to build the new storage facility on a 1.36-acre parcel west of the Papago Plaza redevelopment which includes an Alliance Residential apartment complex and a new hotel.

Plans call for Bell Group to demolish an existing two-story office building to make way for the new storage project.
