Council approves Phoenix Country Club development plans

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Phoenix City Council  has approved rezoning plans to allow for a development and condominium project at the Phoenix Country Club at Thomas Road and Seventh Street.

The City Council approved Sunbelt Holdings (AGS LLC) rezoning plan that would bring 125 residential units to the Country Club’s parking lot. The development will sit on 2.94 acres at the northeast corner of Thomas and Seventh Street.

The approval came after a memo from Phoenix’s Planning and Development Department outlining some agreements the Country Club and developer are making to ease neighborhood concerns over parking.
