Ryan Companies has submitted plans with the city of Scottsdale for a proposed senior living and health care development at Shea Boulevard and 74th Street.

Ryan is asking for zoning changes and a General Plan amendment for the proposed Acoya Scottsdale at Shea.

Plans call for a four-story senior facility on the 2.5-acre property. The property is currently home to a retail center, gas station, car wash and vehicle service center.

Plans call for a high-end senior living development along with assisted and memory care units.

The senior development would have 161 units and total 225,068 square feet, according to plans filed with the city of Scottsdale.
