Recreational Cannabis License Rules out for Public Comment, Rose Law Group Jordan Rose notes the importance of public input

By Rose Law Group Staff Reporter

Last night, the Department of Health Services released their first round public review draft for the recreational licensing that was passed by the voters as Proposition 207.

The Rules are expected to take affect by mid January and shortly thereafter new recreational marijuana licenses for dispensaries will be issued.

President and Founder of Rose Law Group, Jordan Rose, says “DHS is working hard to meet the very short timelines in the voter approved initiative.  Normally a rule making takes many months or even a year but in this case they need the Rule by mid January.  We plan to review for details and make comment on behalf of our Cannabis company clients.”
