U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., angered many of her fellow House Republicans with her vote to impeach Trump on a charge of inciting an insurrection that culminated in the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol rampage by Trump supporters.
Arizona’s four House Republicans votedby secret ballot on whether or not Rep. Liz Cheney could keep her leadership role in the party after voting to impeach former President Donald Trump.
But so far they haven’t disclosed how they voted on Cheney’s status within the GOP.
A spokesperson for Rep. Paul Gosar said he would not be commenting.
Reps. Andy Biggs and David Schweikert did not respond to The Arizona Republic’s requests for comment.
Rep. Debbie Lesko’s media contact spoke with The Republic, but then did not answer subsequent calls.
All are members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, which Biggs leads.
