The top selling new subdivisions in the Phoenix housing market are typically in outlying growth areas such as Buckeye and Pinal County.
But the latest sales numbers from real estate expert Jim Belfiore show sales strength in the East Valley — in particular Gilbert.
Belfiore is a principal with real estate research firm Zonda and he just released new homes sales data from between mid December and mid January.
That includes the top selling new home subdivisions in Maricopa and Pinal counties.
“Seven of the top ten are in the East Valley,” said Belifore of the top selling communities.
That includes three Fulton Homes communities in Gilbert (Lakeview Trails at Morrison Ranch, Seaboard at Cooley Station and Southern Pacific at Cooley Station).
“The market is performing well,” Belfiore said.
