While Glendale is in the midst of an apartment construction boom, one study shows the city has the most affordable rent prices in the Valley.
Zumper, an industry platform that analyzes data for renters and landlords, in its Phoenix metro area February report analyzed active listings in January across 13 Valley cities to show the most and least expensive places to live and those with the fastest growing rents.
Glendale checked in as most affordable with an average of $910 for a one-bedroom rent, as well as being most affordable for two-bedroom rent at $1,180. Phoenix was second with rent at $1,010 and $1,270, respectively.
