Mayo Clinic to build education and research building

Rochester, Minnesota-based Mayo Clinic is planning to build a $131 million education and research building on its Phoenix hospital campus.

This 150,000-square-foot structure is part of Mayo’s $748 million expansion project that is adding more than 1.6 million square feet of buildings — which essentially will double the size of the existing hospital and create nearly 2,000 jobs.
