North Phoenix apartment complex project moving forward

Plans are moving along for a multifamily apartment complex near Dynamite Boulevard and Insterstate 17, according to a local homebuilder.

The complex, called Ascend at Dynamite, will feature a swimming pool, fire pit, ramada and a barbecue and picnic area for its residents. The complex will have 260 total units on an 11-acre parcel.

The complex is being built by DHI Communities of the Arlington, Texas-based D.R. Horton Group.
