Phoenix agrees to infrastructure deal for Taiwan Semiconductor plant

Phoenix officials have agreed to install infrastructure on three miles of streets for a Taiwan semiconductor factory.

On March 17, the Phoenix City Council approved a measure to acquire land near Interstate 17 from Carefree Highway to the Loop 303.

According to city documents, the cost is expected “not to exceed $12 million” for the acquisition of the land.
