Izee’ Baa Gowąh: $61M allocated to begin construction on major projects

The San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation (SCAHC), in partnership with Mortenson Construction, a general contracting and engineering company, will begin the planning and construction of four (4) major projects:

1) The SCAHC healthcare expansion masterplan
2) A 100-Bed Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing facility
3) The new Clarence Wesley Health Center (Medical Clinic)
4) A multi-use Warehouse/Storage Facility

Steve Titla, Chairman of the SCAHC Board of Directors, stated, “On behalf of the SCAHC Board of Directors, we are proud to lead the pathway of these monumental projects. They will allow us to increase our ability and capacity to serve more tribal members and grow the number of services offered.”
