A Val Vista Condos preliminary plat on 1.4 acres north of Southern Avenue on the west side of Val Vista Drive should be approved, the Mesa Planning and Zoning Board recommended recently.
The preliminary plat was recommended for approval unanimously in a consent agenda April 14, with Vice Chair Jessica Sarkissian and board members Shelly Allen and Benjamin Ayers absent. The Mesa City Council will make the final decision at a future meeting.
“The zoning in the site is office commercial and the request before you tonight is a preliminary plat to create a three-unit office condominium for an existing development,” Mesa Planner Kellie Rorex said during a study session prior to the meeting.
