PHX exec to lead Chicago RE company’s SW expansion

After partnering with CRG, the real estate development arm of Chicago-based Clayco, on an industrial project that will construct 5.5 million square feet in Glendale, Mark Sonnenberg decided his best move would be to join CRG and lead the company’s Phoenix office.

“I saw that the best opportunity was to take my skillset and bolt them onto a larger development company,” Sonnenberg, who founded Phoenix-based Bird Dog Industrial in 2017, said. “I wanted to grow and CRG wanted to grow.”
