George Oliver completes major Chandler office building renovation

By Corina Vanek | Phoenix Business Journal

Phoenix developer George Oliver has completed an extensive renovation of the Alexander office building in downtown Chandler and secured several new tenants.

The renovations to the 5-story, 112,000-square-foot office building include adding amenities such as a yoga studio, fitness center with Peloton bikes, treadmills and rowing machines. George Oliver also added outdoor areas, a library, a billiards room for employee events or meetings, a 50-person training center with outdoor seating and a hospitality bar, a dog friendly patio, a mother’s room and an onsite concierge. The Covid-19 pandemic also motivated the developer to add touchless features such as sliding doors, motion sensor restroom doors and touchless drinking fountains.

The 34-year-old building at 25 S. Arizona Place is anchored by First Credit Union and has also secured lease commitments from several new tenants, including 13,417 square feet to Neighborhood Loans, 7,426 square feet to NOVA Home loans, 4,596 square feet to Sandoval Design and Marketing, and 2,524 square feet to North & Co. The building has 23,000 square feet remaining available for lease.
