Lucid fills leadership ranks with new CFO, other execs

Recently-departed Waymo executive Sherry House is joining luxury electric vehicle startup Lucid Motors as chief financial officer, Lucid announced Wednesday.

House, who had been with Waymo since 2017 and in her current role as treasurer and head of investor relations since August 2020, joins Lucid at a key period. The company — which has its headquarters in Newark, California and a manufacturing facility in Casa Grande in Pinal County south of Phoenix — said in February it was merging with special-purpose acquisition company Churchill Capital IV Corp. in the largest SPAC ever in the electric vehicle space.
