DAR wants to place historical marker at Scottsdale school site

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Grand Canyon Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has put in request with the City of Scottsdale to place a historic marker at the site of Scottsdale Grammar School #2.

The school was built in 1928 and the DAR marker will commemorate the building’s Spanish Colonial Revival Architecture, according to the request filed with the city.

The school building is located at 3720 North Marshall Way. It is currently home to the Scottsdale Artists’ School.
