Hundreds of apartments planned in Desert Ridge

A developer plans to build a 175-unit apartment complex in Phoenix’s Desert Ridge area, with plans for a larger apartment complex across the street to add more than 400 more units.

Orlando, Florida-based ZOM Living purchased two parcels on either side of 56th Street, north of Loop 101. The smaller project being developed first, called Mezzo at Desert Ridge, received an extension on its site plan review from Phoenix planning staff last week.

The development team will make minor changes and resubmit to staff for preliminary site plan approval.
