Phoenix looks for artists to help with 32nd Street improvements

The city of Phoenix is looking for artists to work with a project team that is designing new streetscapes along 32nd Street from Shea Boulevard to Bell Road.

The selected artists will create public art installation and streetscape enhancements.

The city has put out a request for qualifications for the project. The due date for submissions is Sept. 30.

The project is being run by Phoenix’s Office of Arts and Culture’s Public Art Program.

The streetscape project will also include shade and pedestrian improvements along 32nd Street in north Phoenix.
