To legalize virtual matrimony, the couple has hired Rose Law Group. About this adorable wedding function, Group’s founder and president Jordan Rose claims that this is the first time a wedding was held in any blockchain-based metaverse.
“Because the metaverse is still in its infancy, we have developed the legal paradigm for a legally recognized marriage,” she said.
The function was organized in the virtual estate in the Decentraland, acquired by Rose Law Group. On Decentraland, the group built a “meta-marriage framework” by adding a “Virtual Premarital Agreement” that authenticated the virtual identity of the couple and digital assets from blockchain data.
